Ginger Immunity Bombs

Yeah, so, it's Winter now and we're all cooped up inside and there is the flu, colds and of course the 'rona.  So, what's a guy to do to keep from getting some bug one of the kids brings home from school?  Well, fortunately for me, my wife makes Ginger Immunity Bombs for us and we all have at least one, once a day.  They're amazingly tasty and they really do seem to keep bugs at bay as none of our house really ever gets sick since she started making these.  And, we've got 2 kids in school!

Anyway, so what are they?  Here are the ingredients and recipe:  

Ginger Immunity Bombs for Immune System Boost
  • 1/2lb washed Ginger, no need to peel
  • Juice from 3 avg size Oranges
  • Juice from 1 avg size Lemon
  • 1/8 cup Honey
  • 1 Tbs Turmeric, powder or fresh grated
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Few shakes of Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Filtered Water


Toss all that into a blender and blend away until it's good and thin.  Once that's done, use a sieve to filter out the solids.  Then, pour into 3 ice trays and freeze.  We use the silicone bottom ice trays as they're a little easier to get the cubes out.  That's it!

Ginger Immunity Bombs Immune System

We take at least one cube a day either in hot tea or even just a cup of hot or warm water.  Take it early in the day.  And, if you happen to feel a tickle in the back of your throat or you just feel a little run down....take another one then.  

This stuff really keeps your immune system hummin' along!  Think about it:  Ginger, Lemon, Honey, Cayenne, Turmeric and add a little OJ and Black Pepper....that stuff is all NATURAL IMMUNITY BOOST!
